Kelly Pearce

Director

Kelly Pearce is our dedicated and experienced Director. She is passionate about early childhood education and is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children.

Melissa Anderson

Owner/Teacher

Melissa Anderson is our enthusiastic Owner/Teacher. With a focus on play-based learning, she creates engaging activities that promote the holistic development of children in our care.

Jessica Strout

Teacher

Jessica Strout has a deep love for caring for our infants and supporting their earliest stages of growth and development. She creates a calm, loving, and secure environment where babies can explore, bond, and thrive.

Kelly Lessa

Teacher

Kelly Lessa uses gentle guidance and consistent routines, to help our toddlers explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment.

Cindy Caprio

Teacher

Cindy Caprio brings warmth and creativity to our preschool program. She creates a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn.

Leigh-Ellen Ferreira

Owner/Administrator

Leigh-Ellen Ferreira is a Falmouth native and graduate of Falmouth High. I am the Administrator and Co-Owner for Sea Stars.   I have dedicated more than three decades of my life to education, leadership, and community service. With a Master of Arts in Education Leadership (MAED), I have had the privilege of shaping learning environments that foster growth, curiosity, and compassion in students of all ages.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, which opened the door to a lifelong career in teaching that has spanned 32 years—from preschool classrooms to college lecture halls. Throughout my journey, I have remained passionate about helping students not only acquire language skills but also develop a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives.

In addition to Sea Stars, I am the owner of two educational facilities located in Falmouth and California. These centers reflect my belief in nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—within safe and inspiring learning spaces.

Beyond the classroom, I volunteer with various community organizations. My goal has always been to make a meaningful difference both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring that education remains a source of empowerment for all.
